Once upon a time, an asteroid hit Earth. The place was destroyed, and all life in that area was wiped out. Aliens emerged from within the asteroid, and when humans discovered them, they were terrified. Luckily, the aliens didn’t harm anyone unless someone tried to communicate with them.
One day, a boy named Peter, who loved to play football, was kicking his ball around when it rolled toward an alien. The alien looked at Peter, and Peter froze, thinking it might hurt him. But to his surprise, the alien smiled and returned the ball. Peter thought, “If he returned the ball, maybe he’s friendly.” So he took a chance and asked the alien’s name.
Surprisingly, the alien replied, “My name is Alex.”
They played for a while, then each returned to their home.
From that day on, Peter and Alex would sometimes sneak out of their houses to play together or share a snack.
One day, while chatting, Peter shared his thoughts with Alex. “Maybe the aliens could go back to their planet and leave humans in peace,” he said.
Alex sighed. “But how? We don’t have a way to go back.”
Peter replied, “Humans have built rockets. Maybe you could use them.”
Alex liked the idea but said, “I can’t leave without my family and the alien leader must agree too.”
The next day, Alex sneaked out as usual and met Peter. Together, they quietly made their way to the alien leader’s castle. Peter waited outside, too scared to face the leader. Alex went in and proposed the idea.
The leader asked, “Why should we leave Earth? We came to destroy it.”
Alex gently replied, “Earth is full of love and warmth.” He showed the leader scenes from daily life: a mother playing with her child, children flying kites on rooftops, and a boy kindly feeding and petting a stray dog.
The leader was moved. He agreed to leave but wanted to make things right before they went. Before their departure, the aliens cleaned the oceans and repaired the damage the asteroid had caused.
On the day of their farewell, Alex met Peter one last time.
“Goodbye, my friend,” he said.
Then Alex boarded the rocket with his fellow aliens, and they returned to their home planet.
