Chapter 1

Lisa Packs her Bag

In a quiet village surrounded by dark woods lived a brave girl named Lisa. One chilly evening, a strange rumble shook the village. The sky darkened, and villagers spoke in hushed tones about a terrible beast often spotted in the Dark Forest. By nature Lisa was a curious girl and wanted to find more about the beast. She packed some things in her backpack like jelly beans, a water bottle, her blanket and a pillow. Something inside her whispered that this mission was meant for her.

She started her journey through the deep dark forest. There was something eerie about the forest. But it didn’t matter to her. She was determined. It was almost evening and she was tired and thirsty. She saw a coconut tree beside the lake. She drank the coconut water and fell asleep.

Chapter 2

The Talking Teacup

In the morning she drinks tea and is shocked to see her cup and saucer which she touched can now talk. The cup is complaining about how hot the tea is.

She is confused as to how it can be possible. She realizes that it is because of the coconut water that she drank yesterday. She is now even more confident and decided to continue her adventure.

With her trusty backpack (which could now talk, thanks to her power), tea cup and saucer Lisa stepped into the Dark Forest. “Are you sure about this?” her backpack mumbled nervously.

Chapter 3

The Journey Continues

The tea pot told Lisa that he overheard villagers talking that the beast’s house is at the center of the forest. You have to hike the bushy hill to reach there. The forest was thick and silent, except for the trees she had accidentally touched. After hours of hiking, Lisa finally could see an old rustic house. She took a deep breath and pushed the heavy wooden door open.

Chapter 4

Lisa meets the Beast

Inside, the house was full of cobwebs and eerie silence. Suddenly a huge, ugly beast leaped from the shadows. His fur was wild, his eyes full of rage, and his teeth as sharp as broken glass.

“Get out!” the beast growled.

But Lisa stood tall. “Not until I know who you are.”

The beast attacked. Lisa dodged and reached for the first thing she could find an old bucket of water. She splashed it at him. To her amazement she realized that the beast is turning into a human. With a gasp, Lisa stepped back. “A-Alan?”

He was her best friend who had disappeared many years ago. Everyone thought he had gotten lost in the forest. But he had been cursed, by the same coconut tree that gave magical power to Lisa.

Only someone brave enough and kind enough to fight the beast and see past the fear could break the spell. Lisa’s courage helped Alan break the curse and get back to his human form. Lisa hugged Alan, tears in her eyes. “I knew you weren’t gone forever.”

Lisa and Alan returned to the village. She is now the hero of the village. And from that day on, whenever something odd happened in the village, like a talking teacup giving jokes, the villagers would just smile and say, “Ah, Lisa touched it again.”
