Jennie Kim was more than just a rising star- she was the star. She had a voice that could silence a storm and her lyrics told stories of love, hope and dreams. With every performance, she touched hearts and lit up stages.
She had the world’s attention. Her posters were everywhere, her songs played in every car, café, and party.

The fame didn't come easy to her. She used to practice vocals for five hours and dance routines for nearly two hours. This dedication made her truly an inspiration for all.
At just twenty-five, she had become a global sensation through pure hard work.
And today was special. It was her birthday. Also, one of the biggest concerts of her life!

Her dressing room was filled with buzzing excitement. Her costume team was trying new outfits for her and her makeup team was also working their magic, adding the perfect touches of shimmer and glow.
The sound team was doing the last minute tuning. But all this did not excite her today as she thought her parents and her team- everyone forgot her birthday.
No one wished “Happy Birthday.” Not her team. Not her friends. And worst of all, not even her parents. She tried calling them but mom didn't answer the phone .
Her heart sank. “Maybe they really did forget,” she whispered.
She took a deep breath and walked toward the stage. Just before stepping into the spotlight, she tried her parents’ number one last time. Still unreachable.

Her eyes welled up, but she blinked away the tears. “Don’t cry. You’ve got a show to do”.
The lights dimmed. Music swelled. She stepped onto the stage. And there in the very front row she saw them.
Her parents. Her friends. Her team. All beaming at her, holding a huge banner that read:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JENNIE!"

Cheers erupted around her, but in that moment, all she could see were the faces that mattered most- her parents.
Her smile broke through the sadness, bright and full. She sang her heart out that night not just for the fans but for the love, family and joy.
Later, after the show, Jennie ran backstage and hugged her parents tight.

“I thought you really did forget my birthday!” she said, laughing and wiping away a happy tear.
Her dad chuckled. “It was all your mom’s idea! She wanted to surprise you.”
Jennie’s mom smiled and pulled out a small box from her bag. Inside was a beautiful cake, Jennie's favorite flavor- baked with love.
